There was a collector in Ireland some 25-30 yrs ago who travelled the country in search of rare and unusual country furniture and articles, some fine and some rustic, and this was one of the best pieces to be found in the collection he amassed, never offering pieces for sale and leaving all untouched, only occasionally loaning items out to films or exhibitions.
