Folk Painted Marriage Cupboard

A rare find, with wonderfully eye-catching folk painting, pastel colours on a blue ground, flowers, marbling, the original lock and key work and the interior is shelved. It’s a compact size, easy to accommodate, was made originally as a one-off piece for a marriage in 1845, pinewood, very clean, faultless condition, came recently from private collection in Austria.
