This striking deep red Ohio Stars Quilt is in excellent condition.
The quilt displays a wonderful array of fabrics some from the 1870's and others earlier. The wonderful accents of turkey red and indigo patterned fabrics really stand out.
Each block is hand pieced and the quilt is hand quilted.The quilt is strong and sturdy considering its age and there are little signs of use.
The floral fabric on the reverse dates pre 1870.
One patch has a small rust mark which is not very noticeable and in no way detracts from the overall look.
