This is an early 20th Century Churn Dash quilt in red and white, made up of tiny 4 inch squares.

Its quilting is in white thread, 8-10 stitches per inch. It has a white border quilted in a vine and leaf design. The backing is white and the narrow binding is red.

The quilt is in very good condition. There are a couple of popped stitches which are not noticeable and in a very small area. The quilt is detailed and displays beautifully.

Approx 66 x 86 inches (167.5 x 218 cm).
